CV/Resume time
We’re trying to fill a position at work. I’ve seen 10 or so CVs/Resumes. I am thinking about becoming a teacher just to stop/punch all the students who put guns/booze/smoking/skinny ties into their projects. It’s insane. EVERY demo reel has some sort of photo/3d/2d element that is someone smoking in slow motion, or holding a gun while wearing a skinny tie.

Ironic?
I was talking to someone outside of a bar, near closing along with 20 people. I was saying that I’ve yet to be treated like an asshole or outsider for being American/Speaking English. The bartender was telling everyone to be quiet and when he heard me speaking English I saw his face register that I was, in fact, English speaking. So he repeated the command to shut up in English, snidely....

This time I demonstrate how I used my SousVide Supreme to cook a couple 4505 Meats’ Cowboy Chops for a dinner party. Yeehaw!
The process for sous viding the rib eyes was straight-forward and simple; I seasoned the steaks the morning before, stored them in the fridge, and dunked them in the water oven the morning of the party.
We ended up only serving one...
